Alpha Stack: a waitlist that turns early interest into a launch-day audience
01

The challenge

Alpha Stack was preparing to launch an AI-powered investing platform for retail investors. Before launch, the team needed three things: a way to show what the product would do, a list of people who wanted early access, and a clear view of whether interest was growing.

An ordinary sign-up form would not do the job. Investors will not leave their email for a product they cannot picture, and a spreadsheet of addresses goes stale the moment it is exported.

02

What we built

We built a product-style landing page with a launch countdown, a clear early-access sign-up and a preview of the dashboard, so visitors can see what they are signing up for. The page is animated and fast, with 3D and scroll effects that suit a fintech brand.

Behind it sits an admin dashboard where sign-ups appear as they arrive and can be searched, tagged, exported and cleaned up, so the list is ready to use on launch day.

03

The outcome

Before the full product existed, the team had a page that explained it, a growing and organised list of early-access users, and a clear day-by-day view of how interest was building.

How it helps, area by area.

01 The landing page

A page that explains the product before it exists.

The problem

Visitors will not hand over an email address for a product they cannot picture.

The page positions Alpha Stack plainly: institutional-grade AI analysis for retail investors, in one focused dashboard. A launch countdown and progress indicator create momentum, and a preview of the portfolio dashboard shows what members will get.

  • Clear positioning in the first screen, with a launch countdown and progress indicator
  • Preview of the portfolio dashboard, shown as a beta mock-up
  • Three feature pillars: AI signals, portfolio analytics and market intelligence
  • Trust notes where investors look for them: encrypted data and read-only API access
  • Animated 3D visuals and smooth scrolling that suit a fintech brand
02 Early-access sign-up

Capturing early interest in a single step.

The problem

Long forms put people off. The team wanted the lowest possible barrier, without losing track of where each sign-up came from.

Visitors join with their email and first name and are promised priority access on launch day and founding-member status. Every sign-up is stored with a status, its source and the time it joined.

  • Short sign-up form that works from every call-to-action on the page
  • Clear reward for joining: priority access and founding-member perks
  • Each sign-up saved with first name, status, source and join time
  • Running count of investors already on the waitlist shown to visitors
03 What the product promises

Three ideas that make the product easy to understand.

The problem

AI investing tools are crowded and jargon-heavy, so a new product has to be understood in seconds.

The page boils the platform down to three pillars and describes each in plain language, with a short list of the capabilities behind it.

  • AI-powered signals: pattern recognition, live sentiment and risk scoring
  • Portfolio analytics: allocation heatmap, correlation analysis and performance attribution
  • Market intelligence: macro calendar, earnings synthesis and news analysis
  • Coverage of digital assets around the clock, including on-chain signals
04 Admin dashboard

See and manage the waitlist as it grows.

The problem

A static list of emails goes out of date immediately, and the team needs to know who signed up, when, and how the trend is moving.

A private dashboard shows sign-ups as they arrive. The team can see counts for today, this week, this month and all time, follow a daily sign-up chart, and prepare the list for launch.

  • Live sign-up feed that updates in real time
  • Counts for today, this week, this month and overall
  • Daily sign-up chart for the last two weeks
  • Search by email or name
  • Status for every sign-up, with bulk status changes and bulk delete
  • CSV export and one-click copy of all email addresses
  • Protected sign-in that locks after repeated failed attempts
